I appreciate you and your work. Every now and then throughout the past 4 years, I’ve found myself coming back to you and everything you stand for.
I want to dive deep into this work and make the sacrifices necessary to find myself for the betterment of others. You’ve said before that this is a continuous process, so perhaps I shouldn’t beat myself up too much.
I want to no longer be ignorant of politics and the state of the world outside my safe bubble. I want to free myself from the shackles of ideologies holding me back from making great leaps that I have affirmed I am capable of. I want to become a stronger person that can not only handle the emotional toll of accepting the dark truths in our world, but also take action in stepping further into the internal and external unknown so that I may make a significant impact.
“I know the world is bruised and bleeding, and though it is important not to ignore its pain, it is also critical to refuse to succumb to its malevolence. Like failure, chaos contains information that can lead to knowledge—even wisdom. Like art.”
This is lovely and profound; thank you Satya. Trusting the gut; trusting the collective; trusting resistance and its history; not believing capitulation is going to protect you and those you love. Crucial tenets. Finding each other, today, tomorrow, and resisting fragmentation and suspicion of others. I'll keep rereading this post to keep me grounded.

I need to take action.
