I was recently reading the Daoist text, Zhuangzi, chapter nine (outer chapters) entitled "Horses Hooves" about the way that inborn nature--all the great natural beauty of us in the universe--is corrupted. It never ceases to amaze me how the Warring States period in China over two thousand years ago resembled the turmoil of now and inspired similar cries to resist corruption and to remember what is true.
