Quarterlife, Transformation & the Summer Solstice | June 19-23, 2024
In this retreat, we’ll have the opportunity to enjoy three full days and four nights at the beautiful Saturn’s Return on San Juan Island, with two daily workshops led by Satya and beautiful shared meals by Gracie, as well as a boat ride together on the Salish Sea on the Summer Solstice.
In two daily workshops, Satya will guide us in exploring the journeys of our own lives through exercises and discussions grounded in fairy tales and her book’s framework on the four pillars of growth: Separate, Listen, Build, and Integrate.
Through storytelling, self-investigation, group sharing, and dialogue with Satya, we'll clarify the steps we each need to Separate from past dynamics or belief systems that no longer serve us; Listen to our bodies and souls for what they know about our paths; clarify what we need to Build (or deconstruct) to make a life of stability and meaning possible; and craft a dream for how Integration in our lives might appear.
Simple breathing exercises will be incorporated to support grounding and daily integration, and there will be plenty of space for alone time or downtime with others. This retreat is meant to be just that: a retreat for quiet, for community, insight, and self-reflection.
On the summer solstice, we’ll take to the water, journeying by boat to the outer islands where we’ll have a picnic!
Synchronicity and The I Ching | June 26–30, 2024 | San Juan Island
Throughout this retreat, Satya will provide instruction on the use of the ancient Taoist oracle, The I Ching, and how to incorporate it into our daily lives. Our focus will be on the use of this oracle for personal guidance and a psychological understanding of synchronicity. This retreat is for adults of all ages.
In one morning and one afternoon session each day, we will learn to ask questions of The I Ching and learn to listen to what it expresses in response. Through individual inquiry and group sharing, we’ll be able to practice with one another how to interpret the various hexagrams and how to best receive guidance. Through consulting The I Ching each day of the retreat, time will also naturally be spent on the stuck points in our own lives and holding space for each other as we explore what arises.

Carl Jung’s Memories, Dreams, Reflections: a study group | Saturdays, March 16 - April 20th 30, 2024 | Online
For so many people, Carl Jung’s memoir, “Memories, Dreams, Reflections,” provides an accessible and engaging entryway into his complex psychology. Whether you’ve yet to crack its covers or read this classic work several times, our gatherings and lectures will broaden your understanding of the text and bring to life so many timeless ideas.
Jung hesitated for years to write anything autobiographical to this extent and only agreed to collaborate on a memoir if his colleagues and publisher agreed that its focus wouldn’t be on the accolades he received nor the important people he met. In this six-part seminar, we will have an opportunity to explore this work together, diving into the classic stories that make up Jung’s history and the complex theories that always beckon for greater understanding.
Participants will be assigned approximately 60 pages per week for preparation, though reading and live engagement are never required.
“As far as we can discern, the sole purpose of human existence is to kindle a light in the darkness of mere being. It may even be assumed that just as the unconscious affects us, so the increase in our consciousness affects the unconscious.”
— Carl Jung, "Memories, Dreams, Reflections"
